ORAL INTERVIEWS
The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners shall select a number of candidates from the Primary Eligibility List who will be required to participate in an oral interview. Candidates must attain a passing score of 70 percent in order to be placed on the Final Eligibility Register or stand-alone Certified Eligible Lateral Register (limited to persons who are currently full-time sworn officers of a regularly-constituted police department in any municipality, county, university, or State law enforcement agency). Candidates who fail to successfully complete the oral interview process will be notified in writing and eliminated from the current testing process.
